At the German Society of Ophthalmology Congress 2024 (DOG 2024) in Berlin, our esteemed colleague, Dr. Ioannis G. Pallikaris, was awarded the prestigious title of Honorary Member. This honor recognizes his groundbreaking contributions to refractive surgery, most notably his development of LASIK and Epi-LASIK, which have transformed vision correction worldwide. Dr. Pallikaris’ award speech highlighted the evolution of these innovations and their lasting impact on ophthalmic surgery.

In conjunction with this achievement, EYE PCR is proud to announce our participation in the upcoming American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2024 Annual Meeting, where we will be presenting a video titled “An Endocapsular Device That Preserves Capsular Shape and Intracapsular Volume in Cataract Surgery to Address Associated Complications.” This cutting-edge device addresses key issues in cataract surgery, enhancing patient outcomes by maintaining the integrity of the capsular bag during the procedure.
